Utah Senator Mike Lee Is Among The Most Dangerous Enemies Of The United States*
Imagine how intoxicating the power must be. Imagine the sense of self-importance. Imagine the immeasurable hubris. Imagine a willingness to forfeit all principle, all integrity. Imagine working 14-hour days behind a false public persona to override the political will of the majority. Imagine being Mike Lee.
While this week’s Marjorie Taylor Greene show in Georgia proved entertaining, she is harmless by comparison. We have a good idea what she’s up to and don’t have to guess. We wouldn’t be the least surprised if she privately advocated open carry in the House, a bullet in the head of Nancy Pelosi, a Q-anon conspiracy, white supremacy, a violent insurrection, or martial law to keep Trump in the White House. It is difficult to believe the congresswoman could be any more dangerous from her perch in private than what she demonstrates in public.
The same cannot be said for Utah Senator Mike Lee, former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, or House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. They present a much greater threat to the constitutional republic. While I find their public personas distasteful, their recently exposed misconduct is what should worry citizens who care about the survival of liberal democracy in the United States and the peaceful transfer of power based on free and fair elections…
